Quantity Surveyor

50, + Package We’re recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a growing electrical and building services contractor delivering commercial M&E projects across London and the South East.

This is a hands-on commercial role, taking responsibility for project costs, valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts while working closely with Project Managers and senior commercial staff.

The Role Manage the commercial performance of electrical and M&E projects

Prepare valuations and applications for payment

Manage variations and change control

Review subcontractor quotations and payment applications

Support procurement and subcontractor appointments

Monitor project costs, budgets and margins

Produce cost reports and forecasts

Assist with contract administration and commercial risk Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

Support final accounts and project close-outThe Candidate Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or building services

Ideally from an electrical, M&E or specialist subcontractor

Strong commercial and numerical skills

Good knowledge of valuations, variations and subcontract accounts

Confident dealing with clients and project teams

Strong Excel and general IT skills

Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management qualification preferred Package
