As an Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce accurate quotations
Complete quotations within agreed timescales
Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and pricing
Apply knowledge of machine tool capabilities and production methods to each quote
Work closely with the team to reach pricing that works for both business and customer
React quickly and calmly to shifting business priorities
As an Estimator, your experience will include:

Apprentice trained, time served engineer with hands on manufacturing experience
Both turning and milling experience within CNC machining
Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
Experience working within an AS9100 or similar quality environment
Involvement in continuous improvement and process change projects
Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel
