Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will play a central role in shaping the future direction of the business, providing strategic financial leadership while ensuring robust governance, risk management, and commercial performance.

The Role As CFO / Finance Director, you will:
Lead the financial strategy of a growing and dynamic organisation Drive business performance through insightful financial planning and analysis Prepare the business for future capital market opportunities, including IPO readiness and investor engagement Support strategic acquisitions, funding initiatives, and growth projects Provide leadership across finance, treasury, reporting, compliance, and risk management Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to maximise profitability and efficiency Build strong relationships with shareholders, lenders, advisers, auditors, and other key stakeholders Deliver Board-level reporting and strategic recommendations Essential Requirements We are specifically seeking candidates who can demonstrate:
Full professional qualification ( ACA, ACCA or CIMA ) essential Significant experience at CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance leadership level Proven involvement in IPO preparation, transaction processes, or publicly listed environments Strong understanding of the new-build housing, residential development, or wider construction sector Experience managing growth, funding, cashflow, and capital allocation within a project-based business Outstanding commercial acumen and strategic leadership capability Strong stakeholder management skills with Board-level credibility The Individual You will be an ambitious, resilient, and highly capable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
