We are recruiting an experienced Sales Administrator to join a successful and well-established business based in Verwood.

The company supplies products, materials and value-added services to customers across the engineering, manufacturing, construction and wider industrial sectors.

About the Role

This is a varied position in which you will support the sales team and manage customer requirements from initial enquiry through to delivery.

You will respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately. You will check pricing, product availability and expected delivery dates, while keeping customers informed throughout the process.

The role will also involve liaising closely with purchasing, warehouse, transport and operations teams to ensure orders are completed on time. You will help resolve pricing, delivery and order-related queries while maintaining accurate information on the company’s CRM and internal systems.

Alongside the administrative responsibilities, you will build positive relationships with customers, support account managers and help identify additional sales opportunities arising from customer enquiries.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience in sales administration, sales support, customer service or order processing

* Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders within a B2B environment

* Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills

* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at once

* Good Microsoft Office skills and experience using a CRM, ERP or order-processing system

Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, industrial distribution, construction supplies, logistics or another technical product environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are proactive, commercially aware and confident communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels.

The position offers a salary of £28,000–£35,000, depending on experience, together with permanent employment, training and ongoing development.
