We’re hiring two skilled PRN Medical Assistant to support our Nurse Practitioner while also managing front desk and receptionist duties. • Assist the Nurse Practitioner with minor procedures
• Assess conditions and provide preventative care and patient education
• Take vital signs and document accurately in our EMR system
• Verify insurance and collect payment from patients
• Greet patients, manage check‑ins, and handle scheduling at the front desk
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with the care team
• Support a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and staff
• Ability to travel to our Jackson and Vicksburg clinics as needed

• Certified Medical Assistant credential (required)
• 1+ years of experience with vital signs (preferred)
• 1+ years working with EMR systems (required)
• BLS Certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A positive, team‑oriented attitude and a passion for patient care
