Job Summary:
IT technicians offer support to users experiencing problems with computers or software. Support can be provided in person, over the phone or online. They address issues ranging from network systems to individual desktop computers.
- Provide stellar customer service to all team members, vendors, and guests of Riverwalk Casino Hotel.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for complex and critical computer application problems and issues.
- Offer support to the I.T. staff for duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Review and adhere to all Information Technology policies, internal controls and standard operating procedures set forth by Churchill Downs Inc. and Riverwalk Casino Hotel.
Skills And Abilities
- Stellar verbal communication skills suitable for a professional and fast paced environment.
- Type at a minimum of 50 WPM.
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows Installation & Use.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Installation & Use.
- Basic Understanding of:
- CompTIA A+ Principles.
- CompTIA Network+ Principles.
Must complete a minimum of 20 hours of training annually in an area related to Information Technology, Casino Operations, Customer Service, Productivity, Management or Leadership, as assigned and approved by the Senior Director of Information Technology.
