Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing production line equipment with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. This role ensures optimal machine performance, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production line machinery, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues such as wiring, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain automated equipment and production line components.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
