This role involves maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, piping, heat exchangers, and power transmissions.

Mon‑Fri 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Work safely in a team‑oriented, safety‑conscious environment; comply with PJHA process, observation process, and all company/site safety guidelines.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other rotating equipment, following established standards.
  • Perform tasks ranging from supervised to independent completion based on employee development.
  • Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and procedures, and provide feedback on discrepancies in service delivery.
  • Operate hand and power tools, precision alignment, rigging, pipe fitting, welding, blueprint reading, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Use hand tools such as power grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill press, hydraulic pullers, and perform welding with cutting torch.
  • Operate heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders.
  • Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment as needed.
  • Be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as demanded by the job.
  • Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve performance expectations set as part of performance appraisal, including employee development planning.
  • Communicate with all team members to анг short‑ and long‑term planning.
  • Maintain personal tools required for the job, including an up‑to‑date documented personal tool list.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Complete accurate and timely administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or approved GED; AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or 4+ years of education in industrial maintenance technologies/engineering preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Observe details at close range (within a few feet).
  • Control precision – quickly and repeatedly adjust controls of a machine or vehicle to exact positions.
  • Manual dexterity – quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • Move for extended or continuous periods of time.
  • Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools.
  • Operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
  • Wear a respirator while performing job duties.
  • Communicate and express ideas so others understand.
  • Arrange tasks or actions in a specific order or pattern according to rules.
Work Environment

The work environment includes frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. Employees are occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet or humid conditions. Noise levels are usually very loud.

Compensation

Salary: $25.50 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.

Company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
