Cellar Person

We are looking for a beer enthusiast who is ready to make the jump into our wonderful industry. The focus of this position is to provide support to our brewer by assisting in various cellar and cleaning duties. The position is extremely task driven and needs an individual who is able to multi-task, deal with problems as they arise, and do so with extreme attention to detail.

This role will touch all areas of the brewery from time to time; production, cellar work, inventory, kegging, cleaning, etc.

• Quality assurance
• Assisting the brewer with brew days
• Troubleshooting equipment problems within the brewhouse
• Beer transfers: tank-to-tank and prepping beers for kegging
• Cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of brewhouse equipment, tanks, and kegs
• Proper handling of chemicals required for sanitization and cleaning of equipment
• Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards

• Extreme passion for craft beer
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Enjoys working under pressure and at a fast pace
• Confidence handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols
• Brewing - having brewed in some form, either at home or professionally is preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
