Join Gauer Olsen Chartered Professional Accountants as a CPA Articling Student in Victoria, BC. This role involves tax return preparation and financial statement reviews for a variety of clients.

Gauer Olsen is looking for motivated Articling Students for the September 2026 and January 2027 intakes. You will be responsible for preparing compilation files, handling corporate and personal tax returns, and supporting bookkeeping tasks. You'll also participate in special projects that enhance your practical accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements for clients

• Compile and review corporate income tax returns

• Handle personal income tax as well as trust returns

• Assist with various accounting support roles

• Prepare GST and statutory returns efficiently

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

• Enrolled or eligible for the CPA program

• Proven academic excellence

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Skilled in Microsoft Office tools
