The Accountant position at Victoria Foundation supports daily financial operations and record management. This full-time role requires expertise in bookkeeping and accounting, within a collaborative environment. Here, you’ll assist in maintaining accurate financial records and contribute to processes ensuring community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by entering transactions

• Review transactions and support payment processing

• Prepare payments for secondary review and ensure accuracy

• Complete bank reconciliations and month-end closing tasks

• Assist in audit documentation and financial statements preparation

Requirements:

• Education in accounting, finance, or related field

• At least one year of accounting support experience

• Familiarity with CRA reporting and GAAP standards

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel

• Strong organizational and communication skills
