As a Controller, you will oversee the entire month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial results for the VP Finance. You will also create financial reporting packages, manage internal controls, and lead tax compliance efforts.

Your role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity and directing a talented finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and lead full month-end close processes

• Prepare financial statements and variance analyses

• Establish and enhance internal controls and processes

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll

• Support budgeting and forecasting through financial modeling

Requirements:

• 5-8 years progressive accounting experience

• 2+ years as a Controller or Assistant Controller

• CPA designation preferred

• People management experience required

• Ability to work in Greater Victoria area and Canada
