Coordinate legal billing and accounts payable for Woodward & Co. Lawyers LLP in Victoria, with significant in-office collaboration required. Apply advanced Excel skills, accuracy, and financial judgment daily.
The Billing and Accounts Payable Coordinator supports billing and payment functions for a national law firm. You will prepare client bills, review billing quality, process vendor invoices, reconcile records, and maintain financial information. The work supports lawyers handling complex Aboriginal, environmental, and natural resources litigation.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate billing cycles according to schedules, instructions, and client arrangements
- Review draft bills for accuracy, compliance, and presentation
- Prepare, revise, finalise, post, and distribute client bills
- Process invoices, payments, credits, reimbursements, and reconciliations
- Prepare and quality-check financial and billing reports
- Minimum four years’ legal billing, accounts payable, or finance experience
- University degree, business diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems;
Elite 3E experience is an asset - Accuracy, organization, discretion, and competing-deadline management
