Become part of the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC, as a Clerk supporting the Colon Screening Program. This casual role emphasizes patient appointment management and internal communication.

Your position will report to the Manager, where you will handle various clerical functions and assist in the scheduling of patient appointments. This role requires a Grade 12 education and recent relevant experience, along with proficiency in using electronic scheduling tools to prioritize patient needs accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments based on specific criteria

• Review patient information to determine scheduling needs

• Manage clerical and data entry for patient records

• Engage effectively with patients and healthcare staff

• Apply medical terminology knowledge to tasks

Requirements:

• Educational requirement:
Grade 12 or equivalent experience

• Two years' relevant experience preferred

• Ability to type at 45 wpm minimum

• Knowledge of medical terminology necessary

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
