Municipal Committee Clerk Legislative Services

Coordinate governance meetings for Capital Regional District using advanced minute-taking, procedural knowledge, and document management skills. This full-time role supports local government decision-making.

The Committee Clerk serves CRD Boards, Committees, and Commissions within Legislative Services. You will arrange meetings, prepare agendas, record proceedings, distribute minutes, and advise on procedures. The position also supports bylaws, appointments, elections, and Corporate Services administration.

• Coordinate meeting arrangements for CRD Boards and Committees
• Prepare, publish, edit, transcribe, and distribute meeting materials
• Advise on procedural rules and follow up on decisions
• Maintain statutory records, files, appointments, and bylaws
• Support election-related and Corporate Services functions

• High school graduation and related post-secondary courses
• Minimum six years of progressively responsible experience
• Advanced meeting recording, minute production, and keyboarding skills
• Knowledge of local government procedures and relevant legislation
• Valid British Columbia Driver's Licence
