Become a key player in a well-established civil contracting firm located in the Lower Mainland, BC. This full-time Estimator/Junior Project Manager position combines estimating skill and project coordination in a close-knit team environment.
With about 5 years of experience in civil construction, you’ll manage site servicing, road building, and stormwater projects. This dual role provides opportunities for estimating and coordinating efforts, perfect for professionals who appreciate a hands-on approach in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quantity take-offs for civil construction projects
• Review project specifications and drawings accurately
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Assist in the full tender process from review to submission
• Coordinate awarded projects, including schedules and budgets
Requirements:
• Around 5 years of civil construction experience
• Proficient in project management and estimating software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
