Practice family medicine in Victoria, BC, with flexible consultations and substantial phone-based care. Work full time while controlling your schedule.
This family physician role is part of a group practice established in 1988, with an attached walk-in clinic. Each physician manages an individual patient list and chooses consultation lengths from 10 to 15 minutes or longer. Around half the work is completed by phone, including blocks from home and optional Sunday telehealth. The practice includes automated document filing, an in-house Lumps and Bumps clinic, and a Pap clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage your own patient list within the group practice
- Provide full-service family medicine and walk-in care
- Conduct phone consultations in scheduled blocks
- Set consultation lengths and include administrative blocks
- Perform joint injections and skin procedures if desired
- MRCGP or equivalent qualifications
- Eligibility for College of Family Physicians of Canada certification
- Full-time family medicine commitment
- Plans to settle in Victoria long term
- Interest in joint injections or skin procedures welcome
