Saanich School District is seeking a dedicated temporary teacher for Tech Ed. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a valid BC Teaching Certificate. You will teach courses in Metal Jewelry, Auto Mechanics, and more across two semesters, supporting a diverse group of students while adapting materials for their unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Metal Jewelry, Auto, and Mechanics classes

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

• Adapt instructional materials for diverse learners

• Implement safety procedures in a lab environment

• Maintain strong classroom management and organization

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree

• Two years' experience in Tech Ed teaching

• Familiarity with WHMIS and health regulations

• Proficiency in using technology for instruction
