Become a vital part of Panorama Recreation as an Auxiliary Skate Instructor. This role involves teaching various skating lessons while ensuring a positive learning environment in the Leisure Complex.

Panorama Recreation is looking for an Auxiliary Skate Instructor to plan and teach skate lessons, supervise public skating, and develop on-ice programs. The role requires strong skating skills and the ability to adapt teaching to different skill levels. You'll enjoy flexible shifts that include evenings and weekends to best accommodate participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans and skating programs

• Instruct participants of all ages to skate and play hockey

• Maintain a friendly and safe atmosphere for all visitors

• Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors during sessions

• Follow and uphold all operational policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Completion of a Recreational Skate Instructor Course

• Relevant experience in teaching skating or hockey

• Strong skating ability and confidence in skills

• Acceptable criminal record check required

• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certifications needed
