Effective August 1, 2026, the Saanich School District seeks a Vice-Principal for K-5 at ḰELSET Elementary, located on the picturesque Saanich Peninsula near Victoria. The ideal candidate brings experience in thriving diverse environments and holds a Master’s degree in educational leadership.

Your role will include driving teaching excellence and inclusive practices within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Principal in leading exceptional school programs

• Foster collaborative leadership and teamwork initiatives

• Promote First Peoples Principles of Learning

• Advocate for diverse learning needs within the school

• Manage relationships that encourage positive student behavior

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in educational leadership or related field

• Current Teaching Certificate of Qualification from BC

• Proven instructional leadership in elementary education

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

• Commitment to equity and Indigenous education

Lead educational initiatives and champion student success at ḰELSET Elementary.
