KELSET Elementary School is seeking a Vice-Principal starting August 1, 2026, focused on nurturing K-5 educational excellence through effective leadership.
This role is designed for a seasoned educational leader with a Master's degree and certification from the BC Teacher Regulation Branch. You'll be responsible for curriculum, assessment, and facilitating positive relationships within the community, including the WSÁNEĆ First Nation. A commitment to equity, inclusion, and innovative practice is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing school vision and programming
• Provide leadership in curriculum and instruction strategies
• Foster collaboration within the school and district
• Promote indigenizing curriculum through advocacy
• Manage resources for site safety and community use
Requirements:
• Master's degree in educational leadership or similar
• Current BC Teaching Certificate from the Teacher Regulation Branch
• Proven excellence in teaching and instructional leadership
• Effective communication and conflict resolution expertise
• Organizational and management proficiency
Drive educational success for students in the K-5 program at KELSET Elementary School.
