Saanich Schools is seeking an Education Assistant to work from 8:40am to 2:48pm, Monday to Friday, during the school year. You will assist students in various subjects, helping them achieve their academic goals and preparing for future opportunities. This role includes a half-hour unpaid lunch and may involve on-call work after the position concludes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their educational activities

• Foster a safe and engaging learning environment

• Assist teachers with classroom management

• Participate in student achievement initiatives

• May receive Crossing Guard training as needed

Requirements:

• Interest in aiding student growth and learning

• Commitment to a nurturing educational environment

• Ability to work on-site Monday to Friday

• Possibility of on-call work post-employment

• Flexibility to cover Crossing Guard duties if required
