Transform students' academic journeys with Prep Academy Tutors in Victoria, BC. As a Middle School Tutor, you’ll provide customized support to students in Grades 6–9, sparking learning enthusiasm and confidence.
In this role, you will mentor students through one-on-one tutoring sessions, focusing on their unique learning styles and academic goals. Work in both home and online settings while fostering independent learning and skill mastery in core subjects. You will also maintain communication with families to track progress and share updates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interactive one-on-one tutoring sessions
• Assist with homework and academic development
• Create tailored learning plans adhering to the BC curriculum
• Support development of study and organization skills
• Encourage a constructive and motivating teaching atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or relevant degree required
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligible for it
• Experience with Grades 6–9 education
• Strong grasp of BC curriculum principles
• Must have a driver's license and dependable transport
