Westmont seeks an enthusiastic, independent educator for grades 9-12, focused on experiential projects that integrate Science and Math. You will collaborate with community partners and lead students in both traditional and non-traditional learning experiences, such as local excursions and outdoor education. We emphasize academic excellence and innovative teaching methods, guided by supportive mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine multi-disciplinary lesson plans

• Integrate community partners for real-world learning

• Manage external mentors to enhance student learning

• Lead educational excursions and outdoor programming

• Assess and report on student progress effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Education, specializing in Science or Math

• Several years teaching experience at the secondary level

• Montessori training preferred; willing to undergo training

• Current BC Teaching Certification

• First Aid Certificate required
