Become part of Prep Academy Tutors in Victoria, BC as an Elementary Teacher. Provide essential academic support through personalized tutoring that develops foundational skills and confidence in young learners.
As an Elementary Teacher at Prep Academy Tutors, your role will involve one-on-one interactions with Kindergarten to Grade 7 students. You will focus on enhancing literacy, numeracy, and more through engaging and individualized sessions, both online and in students' homes. Your guidance will help foster independence and a lifelong appreciation for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to student needs
• Support academic growth in reading, writing, and math
• Design and implement personalized learning plans
• Maintain communication with families about student progress
• Create an encouraging and positive learning environment
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility for it
• Experience with elementary students
• Strong knowledge of BC elementary curriculum
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
