Saanich Schools is seeking an Education Assistant for the Broadmead campus. In this 10-month position, you will work Monday to Thursday from 8:40 am to 3:20 pm, with occasional Friday shifts. Your experience with vulnerable students will be invaluable in creating a nurturing environment that promotes personal achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist vulnerable students in their learning journey
• Support Math 9-11 and English 9-12 curriculum
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance educational outcomes
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Engage students in active learning strategies
Requirements:
• Experience working with vulnerable students
• Familiarity with secondary Math and English curriculum
• Ability to work effectively in an alternative educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and personal growth
