As the Early Childhood Educator with Special Needs Certification, you will implement tailored curricula to support children's unique developmental needs. Collaborate with families and other professionals to enhance learning experiences in an inclusive child care setting, aligning with BC Child Care Regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create individualized curriculum for children's needs
• Work with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with BC licensing regulations
• Develop suitable play-based activities
• Contribute to departmental quality standards
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Certificate
• Special Needs Certificate required
• Minimum of 3 years experience with young children
• Valid BC licensure as an Early Childhood Educator
• Current First-Aid Certification
