Position: Youth Program Leader Casual Role
Lead educational youth programs with BC SPCA as a Casual Youth Program Leader in Victoria, BC. Inspire participants aged 6-14 about animal welfare and care through fun activities.

In this on-call position, you'll work closely with the Regional Humane Educator to organize weekend workshops, camps, and presentations. It's important to facilitate a safe and inclusive environment while recognizing individual participant needs. Your enthusiasm will enhance learning experiences for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate youth programs in schools and community settings

• Ensure safety of all participants and track attendance

• Proactively address safety hazards during activities

• Provide first aid and compile incident reports as needed

• Cultivate an engaging and respectful atmosphere for learning

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is essential

• Current emergency first aid certification required

• Passion for working with children and animals

• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills

• Must complete a criminal record check for vulnerable sector
