Support students as an Education Assistant with Saanich Schools during weekday school hours in a structured, nurturing district setting.
Saanich Schools serves 8,000 students across 18 schools through challenging and engaging educational programs. This Education Assistant position follows the school calendar, with a 10-month schedule while regular classes are in session. The current shift runs Monday to Friday from 8:10am to 2:48pm, including a half-hour unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities:- Work scheduled weekday hours during regular classes
- Support Saanich Schools educational programs
- Participate in collaboration time
- Work additional daily minutes for spring closure arrangements
- Fill in as a crossing guard when necessary
- Availability Monday to Friday from 8:10am to 2:48pm
- Availability for a 10-month school-year schedule
- Willingness to receive Crossing Guard training
- Ability to work additional scheduled daily minutes
- Availability through the assignment's stated end date
Contribute as an Education Assistant through reliable scheduling, collaboration time, and support for Saanich Schools students.
