Inclusive Education Coordinator

Inclusive Education expertise anchors this District Position supporting diverse learners through consultation, planning, collaboration, and professional development across schools.
This term Inclusion Coordinator position serves the School Board Office’s Inclusive Education and ELL area. The role supports student inclusion through transition structures, individual plans, Ministry Guidelines, and Competency Based Curriculum implementation. It also guides educators, educational assistants, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Support School Based Teams and district staff with student inclusion
Develop transition structures and individual plans for exceptional needs
Lead Inclusive Education workshops and in-service learning
Prepare file summaries for the District Screening Committee
Consult on technology, social emotional learning, and adaptations
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent
At least five years of successful school based experience
Inclusion Support Teacher experience across multiple settings
Experience facilitating adult learning, coaching, and mentoring
Current CPI certification or willingness to obtain
Apply inclusive education leadership, consultation, and planning skills while supporting successful student inclusion throughout the district.
