Apply evidence-based instruction and inquiry learning as a Grade 3 teacher garet’s School’s IB Primary Years Programme.
Located in Victoria, British Columbia, this temporary teaching assignment is scheduled for February 8, 2027, through February 5, 2028. You will create transdisciplinary learning, nurture cognitive, social, and emotional growth, and communicate regularly with families. The position requires IB Primary Years Programme teaching experience and a valid B.C. teaching certificate.
Key Responsibilities:- Create engaging curriculum for Primary Years Programme students
- Build supportive routines within inclusive classrooms
- Foster cognitive, social, and emotional student growth
- Use assessment data to personalize learning
- Communicate with parents through newsletters and digital portfolios
- Current B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch certification
- Bachelor of Education with Primary Years focus
- Experience in inquiry-focused educational settings
- Knowledge of formative and summative assessment practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Support meaningful Grade 3 learning through inquiry, assessment, family communication, and inclusive classroom practice.
