As an Engineering Technician, you will help maintain the District's Geographic Information System, providing valuable technical support for municipal operations. Candidates should have a diploma in civil engineering technology and four years of relevant experience. You will collaborate with field crews, ensuring optimal project execution and data management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support GIS maintenance and updates
• Plan and coordinate municipal maintenance activities
• Review and provide technical support for work packages
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering and field teams
• Manage municipal asset data effectively
Requirements:
• Two-year civil engineering technology diploma
• Four years of applicable experience
• Valid British Columbia driver's license
• Familiarity with municipal engineering systems
