Leadership Position in Engineering & Development

Location: Oak Bay

Join the District of Oak Bay as the Manager of Engineering, Development, and Servicing, focusing on infrastructure integrity and thoughtful development practices. This full-time role ensures effective resource management and strategic alignment across projects.

You'll act as the primary liaison for engineering and development applications, securing technical integrity while optimizing the municipality's growth potential. Collaborate with teams to develop clear communication strategies, allowing for the effective management of operational commitments and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering reviews to ensure project compliance

• Manage municipal asset utilization and servicing plans

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Provide leadership for development project execution

• Facilitate strategic planning across engineering divisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng)

• At least five years in a management capacity in municipal engineering

• Expertise in engineering reviews and development servicing

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
