Join the Township as an Engineering Technologist II in a full-time role that emphasizes survey, layout, and inspection services for critical asset management and construction projects.
This Engineering Technologist II position requires a Civil Engineering Technology diploma and offers technical support to both the Public Works and Engineering Departments. Key responsibilities include conducting surveys and inspections, developing information management strategies, and ensuring accurate data collection and entry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct survey and layout assessments for various projects
• Develop information management strategies and methodologies
• Perform data entry and maintain records of asset management
• Provide essential technical support to relevant departments
• Assist in preliminary cost estimation for projects
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Registration or eligibility for AScT with ASTTBC
• Class 5 BC driver's licence required
• Minimum two years of experience in a municipal environment
• Familiarity with surveying and civil engineering design practices
