Structural Project Engineer

At RJC, as a member of the Construction and Specialty Engineering Team, you will tackle diverse challenges and provide innovative solutions for clients. You will draw from your 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering to design secondary elements like steel studs and glazing, along with seismic restraints and custom homes. Working independently and in teams, you’ll foster collaboration while ensuring project quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design secondary structural elements and glass components

• Prepare detailed structural designs for various constructions

• Provide construction support, site visits, and contractor assistance

• Collaborate with project teams through all design phases

• Maintain quality compliance and detailed engineering notes

Requirements:

• Civil/Structural Engineering Degree, P.Eng. certification

• 7-10 years of structural/construction experience

• Experience in consulting and construction industries

• Leadership experience supervising engineers/technologists

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
