As a Mechanical Designer, you will work under engineering leaders to design, develop, and produce electrical switch gear components. This role involves utilizing Solidworks and Microsoft Office Suite while requiring excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You will coordinate manufacturing and testing activities, ensuring adherence to specifications and codes while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical engineering design work

• Utilize design software and engineering tools effectively

• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements

• Establish manufacturing standards through detailed calculations

• Inspect installations for conformity to design

Requirements:

• Diploma or Journeyperson Certification, or 4 years of related experience

• Proficient in Auto Cad, Solid Works, and Microsoft Office

• Experience in switch gear design preferred

• Knowledge of heat transfer and mechanical calculations

• Strong customer service and organizational skills
