WSP invites applications for a Junior Building Science Consultant position within our Buildings group. You will assist in evaluating the performance of building envelopes and offer valuable insights for sustainable practices. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and a drive to engage in practical applications of building science.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist engineers in building envelope evaluations
• Conduct construction reviews and site inspections
• Contribute to contract administration and report writing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Implement sustainable approaches in project delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Applied Sciences
• 1-2 years of experience in building sciences preferred
• Previous work or co-op experience in a relevant field
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Must hold a valid Canadian driver's license
