Part-Time Bylaw Enforcement Officer Sidney

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, this position requires a focus on regulating municipal bylaws through complaints and investigations. Ideal candidates will possess at least three years of relevant experience in bylaw enforcement and strong public relations skills. You’ll work independently while interpreting regulations and preparing court evidence as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce municipal bylaws and regulations effectively
• Investigate violations and gather necessary evidence
• Prepare detailed reports on bylaw infractions
• Attend court to present evidence as required
• Assist with the preparation and amendment of bylaws
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education with post-secondary criminology courses
• Level I Bylaw Enforcement and Investigation certification
• At least 3 years of municipal bylaw enforcement experience
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Legal ability to work in Canada
