Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated Registered Care Aide to assist clients with personal care and daily living activities. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals and families to foster client independence in a friendly, supportive environment. You will enhance clients' lives through caregiving tasks and companionship across the Greater Victoria area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering client care and home support services
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions
• Support clients with daily living activities and mobility
• Help with household tasks, including meal prep and shopping
• Drive clients to appointments and outings in their vehicles
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks and organize work
