Become a vital part of Selkirk Seniors Village as a Casual Health Care Aide based in Victoria, BC. Support residents in daily living while promoting a comforting atmosphere.

As a Health Care Aide, you will report to the Director of Care, providing essential personal care. Your interactions will help build meaningful relationships with residents while performing tasks such as assisting with meals and monitoring health.

Experience with in long-term care settings is beneficial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care including hygiene and dressing needs

• Respond quickly to resident requests via call bells

• Observe and track changes in residents' health

• Facilitate meal times and assist with nutritional support

• Engage in community activities and maintain household standards

Requirements:

• Completion of a Care Aide Program

• Active registration with the BC Care Aide Registry

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred

• Ability to handle lifting and cleaning equipment

• Complete a vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check
