Serve as a Clinical Psychologist with Canadian Forces Health Services where your expertise in mental health will benefit military personnel. Focus on providing psycho-diagnostic assessments and cognitive behavioural therapy.
National Defence is creating a candidate pool for future openings in clinical psychology. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience with adult mental health, especially in trauma care. You will contribute to a supportive organizational culture that values your professional growth and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess adults for mental and behavioral disorders
• Create and deliver cognitive behavioural therapy plans
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide educational resources and training on mental health
• May involve travel and irregular hours
Requirements:
• Master's or doctorate in clinical psychology
• Registration for independent practice required
• Significant and recent experience in mental health
• At least two years in psycho-diagnostic assessments
• Competencies in communication and action-oriented work
Your clinical skills will play a critical role in enhancing the psychological well-being of military members and their families.
