Chartwell is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian responsible for the clinical aspects of nutritional care in our community. This position involves assessing residents, monitoring their dietary conditions, and collaborating with various teams to align with nutrition care standards. Your input will be vital in ensuring all residents receive optimal dietetic support tailored to their preferences and health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and monitor nutritional risks
• Develop and document individualized diet plans
• Collaborate as part of the interdisciplinary care team
• Engage with the wound care team for necessary interventions
• Facilitate menu adaptations with kitchen staff
Requirements:
• Registered Dietitian certification with provincial standing
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nutrition care
• Familiarity with geriatric nutritional guidelines
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
• Proficient in planning and evaluating dietary care
