As a temporary part-time Renal Dietitian, you will join a multi-disciplinary team at Royal Jubilee Hospital. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional goals for clients in the Renal Program. Utilizing advanced techniques like urea kinetic modeling, your expertise will enhance care plans and guidelines in consultation with fellow health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate client nutritional needs in renal care
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team
• Initiate practice-based research projects in renal nutrition
• Create guidelines for hospital and provincial renal programs
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
• Current licensure as a Dietitian in BC
• Two years of clinical dietetics experience
• One year of recent renal nutrition experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
