Security Analyst BC

Elevate cybersecurity standards as a Security Analyst on the Threat Prevention team in Victoria, British Columbia. Manage risks and protect vital information across the organization while working in a hybrid model.

In this regular full-time role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security measures integrate seamlessly into various projects. Your primary focus will be investigating incidents and implementing controls to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of corporate systems. You'll also conduct Threat and Risk Assessments and enhance security policies to bolster defenses against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate security incidents to identify and mitigate risks

• Conduct Threat and Risk Assessments as required

• Develop and enhance security policies and standards

• Collaborate with stakeholders for integrated security solutions

• Monitor and assess cybersecurity threats and exposures

Requirements:

• Experience in cybersecurity analysis and incident response

• Strong knowledge of risk management practices

• Ability to work in a hybrid model with on-campus presence

• Familiarity with security standards and policies

• Eligibility for security screening as required
