Babcock Canada is looking for a Lead Test Specialist who will oversee the testing and maintenance of submarine systems, collaborating with teams to ensure operational excellence. Bringing 8+ years of experience, you'll navigate complex technical challenges and provide guidance to other specialists, reinforcing the importance of teamwork in defense.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage testing and acceptance procedures for submarines
• Direct and mentor small to medium-sized teams
• Conduct troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
• Draft lockout/tagout and test documentation
• Identify risks and propose innovative solutions
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience
• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering technology
• Experience in naval or submarine environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
