Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Position: Stantec Senior Oracle Database Administrator

This administrative role focuses on managing Oracle (19c+) databases and supporting APEX/ORDS applications. You'll collaborate with internal teams to provide operational support and enhance system security, availability, and efficiency across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage installations, upgrades, and disaster recovery for databases

• Monitor and tune database performance metrics

• Configure and manage APEX and ORDS environments

• Provide Tier 3 support for database incidents

• Optimize deployment processes through automation

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle APEX and ORDS

• Familiarity with PL/SQL and performance troubleshooting

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments preferred

• Proven skills in managing complex database environments
