THE OPPORTUNITY As a Senior Business Analyst, Legal Operations, you will lead automation initiatives and help deliver technology solutions that enhance how Legal Affairs operates. Partnering with legal, business, and technology teams, you will drive projects from requirements through implementation while contributing to the ongoing evolution of BCI's legal technology ecosystem.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH Reporting to the Program Lead, Legal Operations, the Senior Business Analyst leads complex automation and technology initiatives that support Legal Affairs' strategic objectives. Acting as the bridge between business and technology teams, the Senior BA drives work from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring solutions improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and deliver measurable value. The role requires a high degree of independence and collaboration with stakeholders across Legal Affairs and the broader organization.

You will join the Legal Operations team, a centre of excellence within Legal Affairs focused on innovation, process improvement, and technology enablement. Partnering closely with the Chief Legal Officer, legal professionals, business stakeholders, and technology teams, Legal Operations leads strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize operations, and support the ongoing evolution of Legal Affairs T YOU BRING Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field7+ years of experience working in a project environment or a business transformation role3+ years of experience in process analysis and design for functions similar to those within an in-house legal department

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in business analysis, process improvement, data modelling, and workflow innovation

Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead meetings, influence discussions, and adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience implementing, configuring, or optimizing technology platforms to meet evolving business needs

Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including identifying patterns and conceptualizing processes

Working knowledge of AI tools and an interest in applying them to improve legal and business processes

PreferredCBAP, PMP, or other relevant certifications

Experience designing and developing process automations and workflow solutions using low-code/no-code platforms, preferably Microsoft Power AppsWHAT YOU WILL DOLeads the Legal Affairs’ automation program, including establishing an automation backlog, enabling leadership to prioritize competing opportunities, and providing a portfolio view of in-flight initiatives
