Part-Time Maintenance Worker at Chateau

Join Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites as a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Worker in downtown Victoria. Contribute to routine building maintenance and guest service during weekend evening shifts.

This part-time role offers two eight-hour shifts weekly, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 PM to 10 PM. You will be involved in diverse maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and ensuring a safe environment for guests. Your initiative and solid judgment will be key in enhancing our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general building maintenance across hotel spaces

• Perform carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed

• Monitor pool and hot tub maintenance regularly

• Address guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously

• Assist with long-term maintenance projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, hotel preferred

• Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks

• Ability to obtain Pool Operators certificate

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently
