Become a vital part of Esquimalt's Parks and Recreation team as a Custodian Maintenance Worker. This auxiliary role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the Recreation Centre and its facilities.

The Township of Esquimalt is seeking a motivated individual to join the Parks and Recreation Department as a Custodian Maintenance Worker. You'll report directly to the Facilities Supervisor while performing routine cleaning services, monitoring washrooms, and maintaining activity rooms. Your responsibilities also include handling cleaning materials and ensuring pool safety by testing and adjusting chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning services in restrooms and activity areas

• Monitor and disinfect change rooms and lockers consistently

• Set up rooms for various events and functions

• Test and adjust pool chemistry as required

• Conduct routine maintenance on pool equipment

Requirements:

• Partial high school graduation preferred

• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License required

• Clean Driver’s Abstract needed

• Pool Operator’s Level 1 and 2 Certificates

• Clear Criminal Record Check requested
