Work as a Parks Maintenance Attendant with the Capital Regional District, focusing on facility upkeep and visitor relations in a dynamic park environment. Strong communication skills and physical fitness are needed to thrive in this role.
In this key position, you'll report to the Parks Operations Supervisor and collaborate with a team of Park Attendants. You'll handle routine maintenance, educate park visitors about regulations, and enforce safety practices. Your proactive public relations skills will help foster positive experiences for all park-goers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain park facilities regularly
• Assist with securing park-related vehicles and equipment
• Notify supervisors of any hazardous conditions
• Provide essential information to park visitors
• Coordinate special event setups as needed
Requirements:
• High School Graduation or equivalent
• Previous park maintenance experience
• Criminal record check necessary
• Basic First Aid certification required
• Valid BC Driver's Licence and Driver's Abstract
